Hello, lovely people!
Today I have a review and swatches for you of No 7's Stay Perfect Trio Eye Shadow Palette in Cappuccino.

I have been an admirer of No 7 beauty products for quite some time, but didn't know if I could purchase them outside of Boots -- a massive drugstore chain in the UK.
Since Boots developed No 7 I was unsure if the brand was sold in-stores in the US. 👢

Much to my delight and the delight of all of us beauty lovers, No 7 products are available in States at Target, CVS, Ulta, Walgreens, and Walmart.
Plus, there is always Amazon and ebay. 💻

No. 7 Stay Perfect Trio Eye Shadow Palette in Cappuccino

The Stay Perfect Trio Eye Shadow Palette comes in many shade ranges and they're all lovely.
I bought the palette in Cappuccino from Target. I also like the packaging; it has a sleek look.

2020 Update: the shade Cappuccino is no longer available, unless you find one on Amazon or ebay.
But the shades High Seas or Warm Nudes are similar.

To Break it down:

Brand: No 7
Name of Shade: Cappuccino
Colors: Cream, Mauve-Taupe, Tawny Brown
Finish: Shimmer
Formula: Pressed Powder
Needs Layers to Reach Pan Shade: Yes
Lasts for: Approximately 7 Hours
Fallout: Minimal
Blendable: Yes
Chalky/Flaky: No/No

Pros: These shadows are smooth and soft, and they blend wonderfully. The shimmer finish sparkles beautifully when the light hits it. They last a fairly decent amount of time before creasing or fading. There is little to no fallout and you can get almost a complete eye look with this one palette!

Cons: It takes quite a bit of layering to achieve the shades you see in the palette. The pigments aren't very strong. If you like a sheerer look then these shadows are perfect, otherwise it can get a little frustrating spending extra time building color.

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)
Would I Repurchase: Maybe (in another shade)

Overall: The colors are nice and have okay staying power. But the pigments are weak and lack color saturation resulting in either lackluster shades or extra layering.

Extra Tip: If you dampen your brush with water first and then dip it in the shadow, you can get closer to the palette shade with less layering 😉

And just for you, here is how you can use these eyeshadow to create a makeup look:

1. I blended the mauve-y color (middle shade) through the crease of my eye.
2. Then I took the tawny color (bottom shade) and put it all over the lid, I also ran it along the lower lash line for extra definition.
3. Finally, I buffed the cream color (top shade) into the brow bone and placed a little on the inner corners of my eyes.

And there you have my review of No7 Stay Perfect Trio Eye Shadow Palette in Cappuccino.
A nice eyeshadow palette if you are looking for a light sweep of color or maybe just beginning to use multiple eyeshadow shades.
If you are looking for a good color pay off and pigment, this is not the best way to go.😐

I hope my review was useful and you had some fun too!
