Superbowl: Broncos Makeup

We finally know who is going to be in Superbowl 50: the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos!
In honor of the big event I decided to do makeup inspired by the teams.
Panthers look is in the works as you read ;)

Orange, blue and white are the Broncos colors.
I never wear orange eyeshadow because it washes me out,
but I made an exception for the Superbowl.
NYX Avant Pop Art Throb was perfect for this.
It has the most vibrant orange shadow.
I never thought I'd use the shade, but I guess one should never say "never".

Oh yeah, and I used blue lipstick too.

A few months back on a whim (and on sale) I bought NYX Wicked Lippie in Envy.
I didn't know what I would do with this shocking blue lipstick, but eventually opportunity knocked.

Here is the video:

Or we could go with orange lipstick to make it a bit more wearable :)

It was definitely a lot of fun to create.
My Panthers look is coming up next so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading

Forest Green Smokey Eye

Just a quick video tutorial of a smokey eye with green shadow

A blending brush is your best friend when attempting a smokey eye.
My favorites are the MAC 217, Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
and Crown Brush Deluxe Pointed Crease Brush.

I try to avoid putting blush on the apples of my cheeks because, although
I'm fairly young, it can age you.

It Cosmetics Hello Lashes is a fantastic mascara!
It gives major length.

Hope you enjoyed the look,
Thanks for reading :)

Ipsy Favorites of 2015

Now that 2015 is over I would like to reflect on all of the makeup from that year.
And some of the best products I used came from Ipsy's glam bags.

For anyone unfamiliar with Ipsy; for $10 a month they send you a makeup bag with
4 or 5 beauty products tailored to your preferences.
When you sign up you take a beauty quiz to give them an idea of what products you like.

The Past Few Months...

So it's been a well since I've posted, well, anything.
Last one was around October.
Now it's 2016!

Whether my absence has been noticed or not it was due to classes.
Although I graduated I decided to change my major and pursue a degree in law.
Therefore, last semester took a lot out of me.

But there is still more makeup to come.
Here are the past few months':

A video I did with my lovely niece for teen makeup

Video here:

Concert Makeup (saw Nate Ruess from Fun!)

Renascence Festival

Baseball game (we lost, but there was a tribute to Elvis!)

Star Wars Makeup (well, really just the makeup I wore the day I saw the movie lol)

Those were some of the makeup looks I had a chance to document.
Stay tuned for more and don't forget to stay connected on my other social media accounts :)

Thanks for reading!
