Hello lovely people!

It's a been a little while since my last post. This is unfortunately due to the unexpected loss of a good friend of mine. His passing has been a devastating blow and shaken me to my core.

However, "The show must go on." He always had the perfect classic rock reference for any situation.

He always encouraged me to pursue what I love; writing, and over course makeup!

But still, I will miss him quite terribly, the world will be too quiet without him.

1. JONTEBLU: Felt Tip Eyeliner Pencil in Black

Smudges/Streaks/Runs: No/No/No
Lasts for: 18+ Hours

Pros: This eyeliner glides on smooth and precise. It sinks into the lash line like ink, the perfect liner. It is 100% waterproof! Once it dries (which is super quick), it lasts through tears, swimming, showers, and humidity!

It does not smudge or budge. It also has the longest staying power I've seen in an eyeliner in quite a while. It's the perfect summer liner because it stays in place no matter the weather or the duration of your day ⛈🌞

Extra Tip: Won't come off when you need it to? Try baby oil or coconut oil on a tissue, gently rub over lash line and voila!

Cons: I scrutinized this liner to the highest degree and I have noticed any cons.

Would I Purchase: Yes!

Final Thoughts: Fabulous eyeliner pen: dries fast, doesn't move from lash line, and lasts for hours on end. I approve 👍

2. SUNDAYS: Nail Polish in No. 13

Product: Nail Polish
Brand: Sundays
Name of Shade: No. 13
Color: Tomato Red
Finish: Crème
Number of Coats to Get Bottle Shade: 1 1/2
Lasts for: Approximately 1-1 1/2 weeks

Pros: Sleek application with easy color build up. This polish has good staying power (I did use a base and top coat). The color is a fun tomato red, perfect for summer days 💅

Cons: It can chip, like most nail polishes.

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)

Would I Purchase: Yes

Final Thoughts: Your typical high quality nail polish. It can chip after a while, but it lasts pretty long without needing a touch up.

3. I DEW CARE: Sugar Kitten Hydrating Holographic Peel-Off Mask

Brand: I Dew Care

Product: Mask
Size: Mini
Formula: Gel/Mask

Scent: Roses

Skin Type It Works Best For: Combo-Dry

Pros: Ridiculously pretty colors! Starts out as an iridescent, shimmery, pale green when you apply it and then turns to a sparkly light pink once it dries. It peels off fairly easy and leaves skin feeling clean and hydrated.

Cons: The rose water gives it a strong rose scent, so if you're sensitive to scents, take heed, it is REALLY strong 🌹

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭑⭑⭑ (2 out of 5)

Would I Purchase: Maybe

Final Thoughts: I love the way it makes my skin feel and the pretty colors of the mask, but my big problem is the scent. I love the scent of roses but even for me this is a little much.

4. REALHER: Lipstick in Sorry, Not Sorry

Brand: Realher

Product: Lipstick
Size: Mini
Name of Shade: Sorry, Not Sorry
Color: Rose Pink
Finish: Cream
Smudges/Drying: No/No
Last for: 6 Hours

Pros: A universally flattering soft rosy pink lipstick. It is comfortable and non-drying and when it starts to fade, it leaves a nice stain of color.

Cons: For me, I'm not a fan of the shade, it's more neutral than I like. Also, I would like the color to last a little longer than it does.

Star Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭑⭑ (3 out of 5)

Would I Purchase: In a different shade, yes

Final Thoughts: It is a competent lipstick. The color does last for a few hours, but not as long as other lipsticks do. I would give it another try in a different shade.

5. TETRIS X ipsy: Tapered Blending Brush

Brand: Tetris X ipsy

Name of Brush: Tapered Blending
Feature for Brush: Eyes
Feature I Use it for: Crease of eye, contouring nose
Formula it Works Best with: Powder
Bristles Splay: No

Pros: Soft bristles, with a nice tapered tip. The size is perfect for contouring eyes and face and it blends like a dream. The Tetris design is super cute and totally nostalgia inducing 🎮

Cons: The brush handle itself is lightweight, too lightweight, bordering on flimsy.

Since the handle is plastic and so weightless, I can see it easily snapping in half if carried in a makeup bag or simply moving it with too much pressure. I find myself babying it a lot because it is so light.

Star Rating: ⭐⭑⭑⭑⭑ (1 out of 5)

Would I Purchase: No

Final Thoughts: The brush head is terrific and does a great job blending, the handle could blow away with a breeze
